Island Property Network was founded with one purpose: to create a community that actually delivers value to the people in it.
Built on the Isle of Wight, with nearly two decades of hands-on property experience behind it, this network was born from a frustration with events that felt more like sales floors than genuine communities. We wanted something different — a monthly gathering where experienced investors and fresh faces sit side by side, where keynote speakers share real knowledge (not just theory), and where every attendee leaves with something useful.
Our founder has been investing in property on the Isle of Wight for nearly 20 years — navigating buy-to-lets, HMOs, serviced accommodation, commercial conversions, and complex heritage projects. Having raised over £1.3 million in private finance in under two years, and built a reputation as someone who believes in educating others as much as doing deals, that philosophy is the backbone of everything Island Property Network stands for.

Who We Are
Island Property Network is the Isle of Wight’s premier property community, created to support collaboration between investors, developers, landlords, and the professionals who work alongside them.
Founded and hosted by Salim Miah, a Ryde-born property investor with nearly 20 years of hands-on experience, the network exists to bring practical insight, real relationships, and long-term thinking into one trusted space.
We meet on the first Thursday of every month, welcoming both experienced professionals and those at the very start of their property journey.
